YOUR EXPERIENCE

This intensive is an ALL-LEVELS training, so no matter where you’re at in your handstand journey, I’ve got you covered!

TRAINING GROUPS

The only prerequisite for this training is a 60-second wall hold…After that, the level of skill amongst our training family will vary widely.

Thus, I have planned protocols for 2 different kinds of practitioners: Those of you still mostly on the wall, and those of you who are mostly freestanding.

THE DETAILS

Training Schedule + Location + Housing

Quick & Easy: Below you’ll find the outline of our training schedule, gym location, as well as suggestions on where to stay!

Day 1: January 19th

For our first training session together, we’ll be primarily focused on the overall shape and stability of your handstand. You’ll be introduced to a myriad of new drills, whether you’re on the wall or freestanding. This day is all about laying the foundation!

Day 2: January 20th

Day 2 is going to give us the opportunity to break out into individual skill work. So whether you’re working on getting your initial balance, or your ready to move on to shape changes, press, canes, or anything else, I’ll be ready to take you to that next level!

Day 3: January 21st

This is our mid-week de-load day! After 2 days of solid training, we’re going to work on rest and recovery through stretching, massage guns, and foam rollers. There will be minimal time on hands today so we can bounce back strong for our last 2 days!

Day 4: January 22nd

Back at for full training mentality. My wall-assisted folks will spend more time on partner/no-wall work. And the intermediate group will spend the day master side-to-side movements and lifting one hand off the ground at a time!

Day 5: January 23rd

On our final day, we will have a group warm up + foundations for the first hour, and then everyone will have an open day of play where I will be working with you individually on your desired set of skills and drills! Also, this will be the day where our photographer comes in for individual and group photos! 

When/Where are we training?

Our training sessions for all 5 days are 11:30AM to 2:30PM at Rugged CrossFit 702!

Where do you stay?

You can stay anywhere you like! Along with the entertainment of staying on the Strip, Vegas also has a big vacation rental market through sites like AirBnB and VRBO! The travel market here caters to all types, so you can definitely find something that fits for a group of people or a solo traveler!

IMPORTANT: All deposits are completely non-refundable due to the fact that we have to front the money to reserve the space.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Here are some Frequently Asked Questions that will help you get a better understanding of the long-term value of this Course!

This training is super simple: You’re only paying for the training itself, and you can stay wherever you like in Las Vegas. The gym is located in the Spring Valley suburb so staying near there would make for a cheaper Uber/Lyft ride from your rental. Some people do opt to stay on The Strip for more access to entertainment and restaurants, but that part is totally up to you!

Our trainings will officially start at 11:30am PST every day, but the gym will open for us between 11:00 and 11:15am so you’ll have some time to settle in. Don’t worry about showing up extremely early to warm up, as all of our 3-hour sessions will include ample warm up for that day’s skills and drills!

Your remaining balance is simply due on or before January 1st. I do plan on this event selling out quickly so we’d like to have all the payments finalized well before our first day.

Las Vegas has more entertainment than any other place in North America, so we have plenty of options! Cirque Du Soleil, Fremont Street, The Sphere, Red Rocks hiking trails, and much more! Obviously, make sure you budget for these outings if you think you may want to participate in them!

The best thing you can do right now is practice, practice, practice. I will be hosting a Zoom training session to meet everyone, and to hear about your goals and aspirations before we all meet in person. Getting on a consistent handstand regimen now is the best possible to way make sure you get the most out of our week together!
